Where advertising is served here it is supplied by external networks, which may include Google AdSense. Such networks and their partners may set cookies and read device identifiers to determine which ads to display, how often, and whether they worked — using data about your visits to this and other sites. The ads shown alongside our writing on Fortyclear are selected by those networks, not by us. We do not review them individually, and an ad appearing next to an article is not an endorsement of it by Fortyclear.

Your Advertising Controls

Several opt-outs exist. Google’s own is at Google Ads Settings. Industry-wide ones are run by the DAA and the NAI, with Your Online Choices covering Europe. We honour Global Privacy Control without you asking. Opting out affects targeting, not ad volume.
